CHINT Global Malaysia is proud to support the energisation of a major data centre project in Gelang Patah, Johor with the successful delivery and installation of 2 units of 275kV 120MVA Power Transformers.
As Malaysia continues to emerge as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing data centre hubs, the demand for reliable, stable and high-capacity power infrastructure has become increasingly critical. The 275kV transformers play a vital role in supporting mission-critical operations by ensuring grid reliability, operational stability, and long-term energy efficiency for large-scale digital infrastructure developments.
Beyond equipment supply, this project also demonstrates CHINT Global Malaysia’s strengthening local project execution capabilities. Supported by dedicated local project managers and experienced site engineers, our team works closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery, testing, commissioning and on-site coordination in compliance with Malaysia’s utility and site requirements.
