CHINT Global is actively fulfilling its social responsibilities. As part of the company’s ongoing support of engineering education, in 2017, CHINT have signed an MOC with ILP Kepala Batas, Penang through Alpha Automation (Selangor) Sdn. Bhd. to contribute equipment in their laboratory in stages since Nov 2021 and May 2022.
CHINT’s Electrical Lab for education in Institut Latihan Perindustrian Kepala Batas, Penang was launched on 5th October 2022. We were pleased to have Ms Beibei Zheng, the Vice President of CHINT Global, Mr Johnson Luu, Marketing Director for APAC CHINT Global, Ms Janet Zhang, Operation Director and Business Assistant for Vice President, Mr Jason Su, Director of APAC CHINT Global and Mr Tey Siang Leng, Executive Director of Alpha Automation (Selangor) Sdn Bhd to officiated the launch.
The launching of the CHINT Electrical Lab is signed between Mr Shakib Bin Ahmad Shakir, Director General of Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resources and Ms Beibei Zheng.
The MOC signing was between Mr Tey Siang Leng, Mr Jason Su, Mr Zamzuri Hassan, the Director of ILP, and represented by Ms Shariza (Head of Electrical Department) as witness to the prestigious agreement.
The equipment in the lab are MSB, Consumer Unit, Breakers, solar panel, switches, display cabinets, information counters, catalog, and posters. With the objectives to provide students the hands-on skills and experience they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. Apart from the learning equipment, Alpha Automation (Selangor) Sdn Bhd also contributed a billboard and installed it on a water tank in the Kepala Batas ILP area.
Through this lab, CHINT and Alpha Automation (Selangor) Sdn Bhd will work hand-in-hand with ILP or other institutions to enhance education, and encourage pioneer in customize solutions that will solve local market issues, ultimately building a more intelligent and competitive generation.
