The initiative recognises the important role of media practitioners in delivering accurate information, educating the public and connecting communities across Malaysia.

Mr. Tey Siang Leng, CEO of CHINT Global (Malaysia) attended the Session with Strategic Partners at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur on 4 June 2026, followed by the HAWANA 2026 Summit at PICCA Convention Centre, Penang on 20 June 2026. Officiated by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the summit brought together media representatives, industry leaders, policymakers and stakeholders from across the nation to recognise the media’s contributions and strengthen collaboration across sectors.
