The CHINT NJR5-D series is an external-bypass soft starter for three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motors. It controls motor starting current and torque through three-phase thyristor control and provides soft-start and soft-stop functions for motor-driven equipment.

Typical applications include metallurgy, petroleum, fire protection, mining, water supply, municipal services, food processing, cement and petrochemical industries.

• Main-circuit voltage options: AC 220 V, 380 V, 460 V, 575 V or 690 V, depending on model
• Starting modes: Seven modes, including current, voltage, torque and frequency-division control

• Communication: Built-in RS485 interface with standard Modbus protocol
• Protection: Phase loss, phase imbalance, overload, overvoltage, undervoltage and other motor/starter fault protections
• Operation temperature: -10°C to +40°C. Derating is required above +40°C up to +50°C
